It is particularly useful when a large number of your emails fail to be delivered and you need to localize the source of the problem.<\/p>\n<p>Bounces are divided into two types: <em>hard&nbsp;<\/em>and <em>soft<\/em>. Hard bounces arise due to nonexistent mailboxes, and they are automatically removed from the database after each send. Other bounces, which occur temporarily and can be corrected, are <em>soft<\/em>. They can be caused by the following situations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the recipient&#39;s mailbox is full<\/li>\n<li>message is blocked<\/li>\n<li>other errors (non-standard server responses)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Since <em>soft bounces<\/em> are usually temporary, you can select all subscribers who returned such errors in response to a specific message and try to send them this message again.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.expertsender.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/1549279955031-report_bounce_EN.png\" style=\"width: truepx;\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dib fr-fil fr-bordered\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The report indicates the following data:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sent&nbsp;<\/strong>&#8211; the total number of messages sent within the selected period<\/li>\n<li><strong>Undelivered&nbsp;<\/strong>&#8211; the number of undelivered messages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The remaining columns group undelivered messages according to the reason of failed delivery:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>User unknown<\/strong> &#8211; the sum of non-existent email addresses<\/li>\n<li><strong>Blocked&nbsp;<\/strong>&#8211; the message was blocked by the server<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mailbox Full<\/strong> &#8211; the recipient&#39;s mailbox reached its full capacity and no new message can be delivered<\/li>\n<li><strong>Other bounces<\/strong> &#8211; all remaining delivery errors which cannot be classified as one of the above<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>It is possible to to export all of the email addresses which have generated bounces of any or of a specific type in a CSV file. To do this, click the dropdown button next to the desired column heading and select <strong>Export:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.expertsender.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/1549286095336-report_bounce_export_EN.png\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dib fr-fil fr-bordered\"><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Note that the numbers of bounces within the table are clickable and allow you to access more specific information on the received server response:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.expertsender.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/1549287615813-report_bounce_clickable_EN.png\" style=\"width: truepx;\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dib fr-fil fr-bordered\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>In the subsequent detailed report, you may, for example, find delivery errors which contain a specific text in the server response.
