For instance, you may store information on the city, country, sex or age of your subscribers.<\/p>\n<p>In order to create a new custom field to use along with your subscriber data, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Select <strong>Subscribers&nbsp;<\/strong>&gt; <strong>Custom fields<\/strong> from the left-hand navigation.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Add new custom field<\/strong>. This will open the following window:<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.expertsender.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/1553598978741-create_custom_field_EN.png\" style=\"width: truepx;\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dib fr-fil fr-bordered\"><\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>Name<\/strong> of the custom field, along with its <strong>Friendly name<\/strong> (a more descriptive rendering of the concept).<\/li>\n<li>Then select the <strong>Custom field type<\/strong>. ExpertSender supports following custom field types:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Text&nbsp;<\/strong>&#8211; the value entered in the field can be any sequence of up to 128 characters<\/li>\n<li><strong>Number<\/strong> &#8211; the value must be an integer<\/li>\n<li><strong>Money&nbsp;<\/strong>&#8211; the value is a double-precision float, i.e. a number with two decimal places, (e.g. 12.50)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Date&nbsp;<\/strong>&#8211; the value is any date in the MM\/DD\/YYYY format. Click the calendar icon to choose the default date from the drop-down calendar<\/li>\n<li><strong>Datetime&nbsp;<\/strong>&#8211; the value is any date in the MM\/DD\/YYYY format accompanied by a specific time. Click the calendar icon to choose the default date from the drop-down calendar and the clock icon to choose the default time.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Single Select<\/strong> &#8211; the value can be from a number of predefined options. Add all of the possible options with friendly names, then pick the default value. [picture]<\/li>\n<li><strong>Boolean&nbsp;<\/strong>&#8211; the value is one of two options: either &quot;yes&quot; or &quot;no&quot;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Url&nbsp;<\/strong>&#8211; the value must be a valid URL<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Default text<\/strong> is used as the default value of the field when no other value is provided.<\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>Description<\/strong> field you may add a more detailed description of the field and its purpose.<\/li>\n<li>You may choose your custom field to have a <strong>Required&nbsp;<\/strong>status. This status works in conjunction with webform subscriptions.
