Which store metrics are key for estimating recommendation costs?
Recommendation system costs depend directly on traffic and customer engagement in your store.
The number of page views and interactions with your store translates into recommendation costs, but more importantly, also into their quality. And the more accurate product suggestions are, the more orders you get.
Three key metrics will help estimate the costs of the ECDP recommendation system:
- Page views – show how often customers browse products.
- Active users – tell you about the number of people regularly visiting your store.
- Engaged sessions – measure whether visits lead to specific actions.
