General settings 

This section shows the default settings for the business unit you’re logged into – the one where you manage your marketing activities.

These settings are usually set up by your Account Manager when your business unit is created in ExpertSender CDP.

Your Account Manager fills in the following details:

  • Name – the name of the business unit.
  • Website – the URL of the website where your marketing activities will run, like displaying pop-ups or collecting order data.
  • Organization – the name of the company or account owner. One organization can have several business units in ECDP.
  • Time zone – set based on Central European Time (CET). It’s important to pick the right time zone, especially if you’re targeting customers in a different region.
  • Country – the country where your business unit or organization is based.
  • Currency – all monetary values in ECDP will be shown in this currency. If you collect order data in multiple currencies, they’ll be converted automatically.

You can also upload or update the company logo displayed next to the business unit name in the settings bar. Just paste the URL where your favicon (logo file) is hosted into the Icon URL field.
